The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and high-quality English lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, fostering a love for literature and language among students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver effective and engaging English lessons in line with the UK National Curriculum.
- Teach a range of topics including literature, language, and writing skills across KS3–KS5.
- Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support development
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student engagement and achievement.
- Prepare students for internal and external examinations, including GCSEs and A-Levels.
- Participate in departmental meetings, school events, and extracurricular activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery and share best practices.
