Job Summary:
Australian International School Malaysia (AISM) is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and student-focused Teaching Assistant / Assistant Teacher to support classroom learning and contribute to a positive educational environment. The successful candidate will work closely with lead teachers to assist in delivering engaging learning experiences, support students’ academic and personal development, and help maintain an inclusive and nurturing classroom atmosphere.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist the lead teacher in planning and delivering classroom activities and lessons.
• Support students individually and in small groups to reinforce learning objectives.
• Assist in preparing classroom materials, educational resources, and displays.
• Monitor students during classroom sessions, breaks, and school activities.
• Provide support to students with varying learning abilities and needs.
• Help maintain classroom discipline and ensure a safe learning environment.
• Assist with assessment preparation, record keeping, and documentation where required.
• Participate in school activities, events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support student learning outcomes.
