Job Description:
Ermitage International School is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic IB MYP & DP English Teacher to join its vibrant international faculty. The successful candidate will inspire students through engaging English Language and Literature lessons, fostering critical thinking, effective communication, creativity, and a lifelong appreciation for literature within the International Baccalaureate (IB) framework.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver high-quality English Language and Literature lessons aligned with the IB MYP and DP curriculum.
- Develop students' reading, writing, speaking, listening, and analytical skills through engaging and inquiry-based learning experiences.
- Prepare students for IB internal assessments and Diploma Programme examinations.
- Assess student performance regularly and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth.
- Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning needs and learning styles.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages independent thinking and collaboration.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary learning, and school-wide initiatives.
- Maintain effective communication with parents regarding student progress and participate in school events and professional development activities.
