Position: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver differentiated lessons that address the individual learning needs of students with additional educational needs.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and relevant specialists.
- Monitor students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural progress and maintain accurate records.
- Provide individual and small-group support to help students develop their academic and life skills.
- Adapt teaching strategies, learning materials, and classroom activities according to students' abilities and needs.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Work closely with classroom teachers and school leadership to ensure appropriate support and accommodations.
- Communicate regularly with parents and caregivers regarding students' progress and development.
- Collaborate with counsellors, therapists, and other specialists where required.
- Participate in meetings, professional development programmes, and school activities.
