Physical Education (PE) Teacher
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Physical Education lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.
- Develop students' physical fitness, coordination, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
- Teach a range of sports, fitness activities, and physical skills appropriate to students' age and ability.
- Prepare lesson plans, activities, assessments, and learning resources.
- Monitor students' physical development and provide constructive feedback.
- Differentiate activities to accommodate students with varying abilities and fitness levels.
- Ensure the safe and appropriate use of sports facilities and equipment.
- Maintain effective management during indoor and outdoor physical activities.
- Organise and support sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities.
- Promote healthy lifestyles, teamwork, and positive attitudes towards physical activity.
- Collaborate with colleagues and parents to support students' overall development.
- Participate in school meetings, events, and professional development programmes.
